« on: March 03, 2010, 11:17:17 PM »
need aftermarket lugs for aftermarket wheels? I have rota's and the stock lugs have to be put on with a socket, my 4-way bar is to thick..just makes me wonder if the seat properly or do I need to get some new lugs? Thanks

I'm not positive but if you get a thin wall socket you should be able to get them in there.

Most Rota's require thin wall sockets or they'll scratch the wheel. I have circular rings around the lugs on my Rota's because of this (and I don't care, but you probably do).

Quote me now while I'm feeling good about it.  I've decided a WRX will be the vehicle that replaces the Jeep.  I can't see paying Evo prices or justifying purchasing a halfassed/beat to death example for the same asinine amount of money.  For an affordable, point to point, all-weather capable performance car, a wagon fits the bill.  A swapped wagon, even better.

there already there...rings inside the lug hole, not visiable when the lugs are on. If thats it then I dont care about that, I just dont want my wheel flying off =)

Nah, they wont fly off if you torque them correctly.

I got some gorilla spline lugs from Summit racing.  They were only like $50 for the set with shipping.  I think a spare key was $10.  they worked great.  no complaints.  They had an array of colors too.
