My Advans...

So, the question stands, what color to paint my advans.

I have 18" RGIIs on my car...problem is, a few of them have some serious curbage and two has chips I believe.

I just ran out to the parking lot and snapped two quick pics of the car and the rims.

I am gonna have them fixed--putty and painted.

Since I'm painting them I'm gonna be painting over the part that says Advan RGII, but the Raised part that says Advan Racing will still be there and able to be seen easily.

My Vote for myself is Black and I was going to paint the center caps graphite to match the car...here are two pics for reference, what do you guys think?

Bronze.  I'd paint the center caps to match too, but that's more of a personal thing.

I also think paintmatching the whole wheel graphite/gunmetal would be very slick.

Notice how both the colors i mentioned are metallic?  That helps cover for the DIY imperfections.  My old RS 5-spokes I insisted on painting gloss black too much work, and flat black is easy but looks like crap.

I was considering more and more as I look at it now doing the whole wheel to match the car. But reversing the center cap and doing that black to make it stand out.



Oh and also, it wouldn't be a DIY job. I have a guy that does rim Repair that comes to my dealership and he'd be doing it for me.

ive seen cars with wheels painted to match the paint on the car and if its done right it look SICK!

Who cares if you cover the advan sticker thing a real wheel affcianado can spot them apart from there rota cousin

can't believe I'm saying this....but I think I'd say keep them the same color.  they look good on your car.

and, in my opinion, I think they'll look cleaner without the letting on the spoke, just the name on the inner lip will be nice and subtle 

MAYBE, paint the raised lettering to match the car?  Just a thought

I asked him. He was running a perrin FMIC, Invidia Catless DP, and an Invidia Catback N1...no change in uppipe and an EFI Logics Tune.

I have them on the car now....

And provided everything goes well..financially this summer I might be able to mod her finally cause I have a friend that is a vendor and will hook me up.

So, between here and Nasioc, Graphite wins. I'm curious to see if the guy thats gonna do them can do it. If not I'll have to find someone else, but I can't wait, I think if done properly they're gonna be amazing.

yeah.  I kinda liked them yellow/gold.
side note...god, I wish i had the prem bumper. Base 08 rear sucks.
