A fun day but sad to say it is the last one of the year. The course had a nice layout however keeping on course started out as a challenge while trying to figure it out. Even after walking it three times I wasn't comfortable with it until my fourth run. There were just a lot of cones on the course not pertinent to the section we were running. I also didn't have the traction I was used to. Not sure if it was dirt, the the salt mountain that had a dried up salt river leading into the fastest corner, the cooler day, or just me. As usual, probably just me. Anyway, what's the countdown now, 7 months?

I heart auto x

Your car looked slippy in the corners. Lots of pushing, unfortunately. Seemed like your front tires couldn't grab traction. Lots of folks seemed to have the same issue as evidenced by the tail-out corner exits.

Quote me now while I'm feeling good about it.  I've decided a WRX will be the vehicle that replaces the Jeep.  I can't see paying Evo prices or justifying purchasing a halfassed/beat to death example for the same asinine amount of money.  For an affordable, point to point, all-weather capable performance car, a wagon fits the bill.  A swapped wagon, even better.

We took a look at Tom M.'s R-comps and saw a 'choppy' wear pattern on the slicks on only his front tires.  The bumpiest sections also happened to have the most severe turns.

Hope you enjoyed the show.  My abilities are nowhere near 100% of the Wagon's right now. by the end of the day, still maybe 80% max.
