SPT Muffler

I already have a 3" exhaust but I am sick of getting pulled over. what are the odds the spt fit if I pick up just the muffler?

Someone correct me if I am wrong but isn't a SPT muffler a 2.5 inch?  In that case all you gotta do is get a flange done..

I think the spt axel back is 3" but I am not sure any one in the know on this?
