Clear bra options
« on: August 17, 2010, 11:46:40 PM »
I'll post this up in this section.  Since my car doglegs and door was repainted, I want to protect it.  They only put back the original size clear protection instead of the sti size one they were suppose to use, that covers more of the rear door.  So, im looking to do this myself.  Is there a place local to get it or anyone do this stuff on here.  I did a search and found 3m scotchgaurd stuff, xpel, and lamin-x. not sure whats better and also if I should go with say, 12 or 20mm.  Any adv would be helpful.  i would like to get it soon

Anyone know a place that does installs.  Not sure if I want to cut and install or if its probably better to have a pro do it?

Ok, so my order came in. I ordered universal size  two 12x24 to cut my own shape but I think it's for lens and not paint.  Think they could still be used to protect my paint? figure same type of plastic

As do I...though could be a little bigger and more clear.

And nope, you can got to their site and just buy different sizes to cut yourself.  but when in universal, there isn't a different option for paint protection or light so figured the same.  Im gonna email them.  Ive been busy and forgot, so now is a good time to do so
