I'm on my second droid too...first one love to just shut off on me n do other weird shit.

I have The HTC Hero, and it's terrible. They should've spent some time on making it a actual phone, before giving it remote computer accessibility and crap like that. Damn you technology (shakes fist at sky).

Dude, I have swipe evny...are you kidding me. I would kill to have swipe on my EVO, I am so fucking fast with that.

No the Moto Droid 2 has a slide out keyboard too. The X is full touchscreen.

My buddy was using the maxiPad for a fantasy football draft yesterday. It looked pretty sweet but I dont have an Apple product in my house I refuse to start. I met an apple whore yesterday too, she actually had the Apple symbol tatooed in the middle of her back.

So as soon as the Droid tablet comes out I will have one on my coffee table. I know that HP and LG are both working on them, not sure who else.
If you ever want to offload one of those extra Droids, holla atcha boi.. I have the Eris but could use an upgrade, just dont want to pay full price for it.

I've been pretty damn happy with my DroidX so far. No real issues or complaints, other than the volume buttons still functioning when the phone is locked in my pocket. I've scared the crap out of myself a couple times at the gym. And have managed to shut the ringer off completely a couple times as well.

You need "Where's my Droid" It turns the volume to full and rings for up to 5 minutes in the case your volume is off and you can't locate your phone. It only takes a text with your activation phrase to turn it on.

hahaha that is awesome. can't tell you how many times my gf and I have called eachothers phone to try to find it in the house, only to realize that it's on vibrate or silenced

but it's a little off the point of aldogs complaint. I agree, if the phone is locked, the volume buttons should not be active

Eh...I've used it but I'm not a huge fan, just can't deal with touchscreen, personal thing I guess.

Reading the tech blogs and press releases it looks like there will be a mass launch of Android tablets in the 4th qtr this year. LG, and Toshiba are the 2 major names that I see. A K-mart flyer said they would have one for sale this week for $150, but none have showed up yet.

Once I put 2.2 on my x, seems like any issues I had disappeared. I wish I could get my fiancee a droid but we dont really have the money for two smartphones. She was kinda surprised with seeing this months bill since its first one that includes my x. She was use to 88 a month.

Now to find a good mount or build one so I can easily see my precious err X for nav and trapster
