I have a 1998 Subaru Forester and I'd like to buy an Accessport.
I'd kill you, but I understand this is a parody of NASIOC. So I will play along.

Does Cobb make good accessports?
No they do not. They make pieces of simplified dogshit for lazy and n00b tuners to plug and play because they're too illiterate or mentally handicapped to comprehend the software messiah riding on a donkey into Jerusalem that is open source tuning. You will brick your ecu almost instantly because chances are if you're dumb enough to buy one, you're dumb enough to fail to comprehend minimum battery voltage necessary to keep an ECU stable enough to allow a succssful flash, which naturally you'd cause during your ignition-key-on installation and testing of the fifty DEFI gauges you don't understand how to read or operate, but look excessively bling and tacky in that oversized faux carbon fiber gauge pod you can't wait to stick in the middle of your dash like a coked up chinese disco circus plastic ballsack. You will cry and whimper as you post desperate questions on how to UnBrick your ECU on the Cobb Tuning forums only to be rebuffed by asshole forum members more obnoxious than I am, and a nonresponsive Admin that will refer you to the Search Function and threads that half answer your question, because they're filled with more bickering and infighting than a Shawn Hannity radio show. Finally you will turn to Tactrix.com to find a way to recover your Airmailed Overnight ECU in their 'Pay $75 to un-brick your computer" package, which should have the "Add to Cart" button relabeled into a more appropriate designation. Perhaps the term "I'm a fucking mechanically incompetent dumbass and I can't wait to shell out money for someone else to bail me out" would be more appropriate if they could fit it inside the button icon. Unfortunately the font would need to be nearly microscopic or the button would have to be enlarged to fill nearly half the page. Given the idiocy of the average accessport owner and the seriousness of their mechanical transgression, perhaps a half-a-page-large Dumbass Add To Cart button would be appropriate.
To answer your question, I have no fucking idea if Cobb makes a good accessport or not. There is so much stupidity floating around the subaru community, I can no longer see the forest for the trees.
Time for a little Wolff's Biergarten and a victory pint.
