Haha paranoid do you watch the news? Have you taken a peek at the economy. And the extra mags thing I laugh at these people that have a 5 shot pocket piece do you have any idea how hard it is to shoot in a high stress situation?. And if a guy starts shooting up the mall I'm sure he's stable enough to be watching people to see who's carring concealed. At the end of the day its your choice to not be armed just as its mine to be armed. But dong get me wrong there are many times that I leave it at home ie whenever I plan on having a drink etc. Like I said id rather have it and never need it then need it and not have it.

I don't need to watch the news, I've had that type of violent shit happen to me in real-life.  Yes, I have looked at the Economy. People are still being trampled by herds of their fellow overenthusiastic Walmart shoppers on Black Friday, people are dining out, buying cars, and buying new cell phones every two months.  Same shit I've seen for the past 10 years, so forgive my skepticism if that's the reason you carry a pistol with extra ammo.

I'm not being sarcastic at all.  I like the fact that you stated how when you're going to the bar, you leave it home.  That changes things a bit, and is a good call on your part.  Still, if there are days where you figure you don't need it, there must be some criteria to be met for the days you do need it.  What are you preparing for ?   I'll drop it, because it's clear you just feel better carrying, and that's fine and your choice, just like you said.

I love my mini 14 great little rifle plenty of aftermarket parts just make sure you get a newer modle because the old ones have a problem of the action moving the barrel before the round leaves it. The ranch rifleand newer are the corrected platform if you wanna teat drive one before buying lemme know we can try and link up

No need to drop it at all its not a bad thing to explore carry and don't carry points of view. I carry extra mags because I've had a lot of training and both my jobs have opened my eyes to a lot of things most don't notice or want to notice. I can see your point of a gun making things worse but that's also why its called concealed carry and not open if you do it correctly noone will know its there and again its your choice to pull it out or keep it hidden.

I heard they're dead accurate too correct? And yeah, I'd be looking for a brand new one.

Well my other idea is A- Take the money from the sale of my rifle, go put a deposit on a hand gun and buy that instead.
Or B- Mini 14

ill sell ya my spare ruger PC4 carbine chamberd in .40 S&W fer 250 its a fanfuckingtastic little rifle great first gun. it shoots .40 cal handgun ammo (easy to find kinda on the cheaper side) not much kick and is just a blast to shoot.

Okay, after all the looking I've been doing I'm interested in the Ruger 10/22 (hear they shoot great and I love all the customizable options)
But not ruling out this PC4 either, if it's still available?  Got any more info on it? Ghost ring sights, or regular sights? I'm betting no scope at that price? Any mags come with it? Any repairs or service needed, etc, etc
Pics are cool too

Well, I'm thinking strongly about this hand gun thing. Especially where I live not a whole hell of a lot of ranges for me to go to that are 300 Win Mag friendly.

So dropping to a mini 14 is cool, especially cause you can make them look insane.

But also a handgun because its so easy to goto a range with, and great quick easy home defense.

10/22 is an awesome starter rifle if you like semi autos that you can easily grow with. My uncle has one set up for match shooting and it certainly drives tacks. Several bullets in the same hole per clip. Not bad for a semi.

Quote me now while I'm feeling good about it.  I've decided a WRX will be the vehicle that replaces the Jeep.  I can't see paying Evo prices or justifying purchasing a halfassed/beat to death example for the same asinine amount of money.  For an affordable, point to point, all-weather capable performance car, a wagon fits the bill.  A swapped wagon, even better.

yeah.....I was just debating over which to get first.  You know if I get the 10/22 I'm going to end up spending 3x as much modding it as what it costs LOL

And have a gun that you love, will last you a lifetime, and costs pennies to shoot. I don't see the issue here.

EDIT: and has ridiculously good resale value.
