Stainless Steel Shift Knob
« on: December 21, 2011, 05:14:43 PM »
Bought myself a Christmas present this year. Looked on the internet, looked some more, didn't find anything I really liked so I contacted Chris at WC Lathewerks in NJ. I ordered a custom made stainless knob. I could not be happier and its the same price as the Subaru Momo knob. This thing weighs 760 grams or 1.7 pounds.  Chris' website is www.lathewerks.com

Pros: Company is owned and operated by one guy. Service was fantastic. The knob is super heavy.
Cons: It is cold to the touch for the first 15 minutes of driving. Gotta put a glove on it in the winter and cover the knob in the summer.

"If you ain't first ... you're last."
Mods: 20 mm Whiteline rsb, Beatrush shifter bushings, TiC linkage bushings, Beatrush pitch stopper & propeller shaft bushings, CNT catless downpipe, Magnaflow CBE.
