18x9 on a 10 WRX?
« on: November 13, 2010, 08:59:41 PM »
I am looking for a summer wheel/tire package this winter and I am seriously considering Rota G-forces. I have a couple of questions: what color should i go with? I have a Spark Silver Metallic and they come in gunmetal, plain, gold, flat black, and hyper black. I really like how they look in darker shades but I would love to get peoples opinions on this.  Also if I go 18x9 with a 35 offset  or 18x8.5 with a 48 offset will I need to roll the fenders? If I need to who do you recommend rolling them? Thanks in advance!

The wheel bearing integrity hasn't been verified on the newgens yet.  I'd stick with the higher offsets like 43-48.

Dunno about fender interference though.

with my 18x8.5  torques wrapped in 245/45/18 i rubbed in the back. now it was only a little bit on hard bumps and cornering. if i went with the right profile size i would probably have been fine. :uglystupid2:

Thanks for the input guys. I'm stuck between going that route or 18x8.5 G-forces with a 48 offset and rocking 235's... The gforces look great in gunmetal.

I've been looking on wheeldude.com for Rota's but does anyone else know of any other Rota dealers? Want to do some price checks...
