Strut Swap Question

Over on Nasioc there's a guy selling his struts/springs off his '10 Forester for a good price. Would those struts work on an '08 wrx ? I know it will lift the car, the question is how much ? I've done some searching but there is sketchy info, some say more than 1" some say less. idk. I'd like to upgrade my struts at the same time I install my H&R springs which have been in the garage for a year.
