Taking the advice of the moderators on this site, I wanna see all chat Legacy related here. Ed if you want to move any topics legacy related into this chat to get it started, that would be fine. Lets get this thing popular enough to at least get a sticky!

im trying to get george and the other guys from legacygt.com to come over here and maybe have 1 place to do all offical business legacy related instead of crossing between this site and the other one. Because there is like 5 or so people on here that regulalry post who have leggys and there is like 5 people on the other site that post regularly on legacygt.com

I'm one of those people that regularly posts on legacygt.com, just checking in and saying hi. I live in Bethlehem. I'm driving an '05 LGT ABP with 'stage 3+' power mods and some handling mods. All stock exterior. Nice to see more Legacy guys around.

I may be available on the 5th. I probably won't know until the week before.

Also - Deadlydave I'm pretty sure we went to school together out in Rome? I just did some light interwebs stalking and I'm pretty sure I know you.

I went to SUNYIT in Utica, originally from this area though. At SUNY I was an RA.

More like jealous poor college kids wishing they had a subie to blast through the snow I think total there was like 4 subies of people that lived on campus 1 if i remember was a newer riced out 2.5 rs , I made do with the taurus, I think the winterforce on the front and the enormity of the sound system which was easily worth more then the car was what made that car great in the snow as soon as i got the chance I bought a Subaru though

I live off Feura Bush road on the elm ave town park end. I've seen a silver mid 2000's STI with a very dark tint scooting around the area a few times. I don't think anyone notices me because the car is very plain looking. The only thing noticeable is the quad tipped exhaust peeking out and the FMIC which is buried in the front bumper.

I went in as a Freshman in Fall 2003 with Dave. I only stayed for a year or so

In school I drove a red/gray 1998 Legacy Outback wagon 5 speed with the 2.5L. Not sure if anyone remembers her, she also blended in pretty well. Had the rear differential. I wish I never got rid of that, it was a blast in the snow.

Yeah, because for some strange reason over the past few years, central NY has been getting more snow then we have.

CNY was good for snow. Lots of snow driving at night back when I went to school out there. Not much snow driving with the LGT now, the stock VF40 was great for low down torque with the 2.5L - but the new turbo shifted the power band to the right about 1000 RPM. Kinda took the fun out of it. I'm hoping the E85 will bring some more low end grunt when I switch in the spring.

Do any other guys with LGTs have bigger turbos?

What a funny night. Came out of the movies walked to my car, hit the keyless entry...nothing worked..i hit again...nothing. I look inside and there is a different interior then my car( cloth seats) I step back and it is a NA 05-06 Subaru Legacy in my Regal Blue with the trim package so it has the same rear wing. I look behind me, and 3-4 cars back there is my car flashing its lights. What are the odds?!

On the way home, stopped at a redlight, Audi pulled up besides me, passenger (about my age) looked at me funny so I grab a full foot of pedal when the light turns green. The driver rolls down the window at the next light and says: "I just couldn't get traction, Nice car dude!" I shout out something like "good winter tires" give him the thumbs up, he reciprocates and we drive off.

Came home to find my mailbox hanging by a thread....grabbed a nice big ole' roll of duct tape and gave her the thereifixed.com treatment.

Again I say, what a funny night.

Whats going on, i haven't been on since i forgot my password and was too lazy to reset. i haven't logged into many sites actually since i lost all my prefilled passwords..

The prognosis is still the same around here and in my travels to work i only see my old 06 lgt and kholmes once in a while.

I need to find money to dump into it soon, needs coils and summer wheels, as well as brembos...

That's the price you pay, the lag. Not a legacy but my giant FMIC and VF39 strapped to a 2.0 engine causes quite a bit of lag. It's peaky and fun for me though, and a little gentler on my drivetrain. Lighter car too.
