I can't believe how glad I am to technically be a state employee and yet not forced to belong to a union.
Eric

Quote me now while I'm feeling good about it.  I've decided a WRX will be the vehicle that replaces the Jeep.  I can't see paying Evo prices or justifying purchasing a halfassed/beat to death example for the same asinine amount of money.  For an affordable, point to point, all-weather capable performance car, a wagon fits the bill.  A swapped wagon, even better.

Holy crap the constant quotations made reading on the crackberry difficult...   I will say that although state employees get decent benefits,  their pay for IT aren't really up to par.  I left my comfy state job with good benefits for a lot more money in a much lower cost of living area.

I will say that the DMV could cut about 30 of their worthless lazy workforce if they actually got people in that would put in some good effort

As for welfare,  I think I already put my opinion on here in another forum

Back on topic. This bill has been withdrawn.
You may all return to bashing NYS welfare, taxes and the US in general.

Doesn't matter if the bill was withdrawn.  The fact that there exists a need to consider such a bullshit bill, as our lovely state continues its journey toward financial apocalype, is what drives me crazy.  :tickedoff:
