I'm not sure; I've never been.

For the people attending, suggestions on dinner beforehand (if interested)?

Capital Q smokehouse BBQ at 329 ontario st is right around the corner. they have awesome food. there is no beer though because it's basically a take out place (they might have beer, but i don't think so). the only issue is what time my GF gets outta work. if she gets out on time i can be in downtown by 6, but if not it'll be too close. I can call you later and we can figure it out. (im also talkin with dave right now about some plans to go, and also about meeting up at the penguin after)

Parking is on street except for a price chopper lot next door (don't know if they take kindly to people parking there for the movies)

Buy a 40 to have during the second movie; you're a paying customer to Price Chopper, and you'll actually be able to tolerate sitting through Scre4m

Well the 318's got a partially seized caliper and the zipties i was using to hold the fender liner in place on the subaru all let go today, so I'm grounded, and pissed.  I wanted to see some fucking gore.

I'm still going to the penguin tonight around 830 though.

Overall, the night was good. The movie was really good and it was great to see Rick again. We didn't have to stick around to see Scream, however, because I got a phone call in the middle of the movie saying my car was hit on the street. No one was hurt, and I was able to drive home (instead of the officer having it towed and impounded all weekend), so there are some positives of the situation.

In case anyone isn't able to make it this weekend to see Rick, we're hoping to do something on Monday evening before he heads back on Tuesday.

I bought a copy of Rick's movie in case you aren't able to make any of the screenings.

Yeah, they stopped, but were gone by the time I walked outside. They hit the car hard enough to push it a full car-length forward up the street and rotate it onto the curb / into traffic. Their skidmarks put them up on the sidewalk pretty much, so luckily there were no pedestrians.

I'm not sure how bad the damage actually is. It was getting dark, so I'll look tomorrow in the daylight. The tailight is smashed, the rear quarter panel and bumper are messed up. I'm guessing they punctured my I/C spray reservoir (I had the idiot light on my dash the ride home, and Devin said he could see something dripping); I hope it isn't going to damage the stereo equipment back there. There's some kind of noise coming from the rear of the car as well. We'll see what happens when it goes into a shop.

Devin took pictures for me while I was dealing with the officer. By the time I had a chance to, it was too dark (Devin took them while the officer was still there, so he had the headlights helping).

As long as the car isn't totaled (and I need to pull all the parts), I shouldn't, but I appreciate the offer, Peter

Had a chance to look at the police report; apparently, their car was towed from the scene.

shit cell phone pics

i think all this water is from the IC sprayer  :|

his car was parked where the skid marks are

good thing the curb was low, it didn't bend his wheel and it kept the  suspension relatively intact (he shall see when he pokes around tomorrow)

i followed him down western a bit to see if everything looked ok, and it did. the only thing i might have seen, is the right rear tire looked like it had more camber than the left, but it was dark and the fucked up bumper was partially blocking my view. I just hope the suspension geometry isn't all out of whack.

I had a chance to look at the car using my uncle's headlights, and the camber difference is noticeable. Let's just hope this camber difference doesn't take 6 months to resolve like the last one did...

Thanks again for taking pictures while I was dealing with everything and for following me on Western

Just be sure he doesn't mace your ass while he is helping you.  :-D

That is shitty. What street were you parked on? And how the fuck does someone come across your car and hit the inside, or curb side completely missing the street side of the car?
