I think I saw that audi lined up in the lane next to you.  I left right after your first run (thanks for making me late for work... haha).  From what I saw, 32 seemed pretty good.

I'm interested to see how my friend does in his '11.  I already got him in touch with a tuner for a reflash on Friday

yea it was ok, i usually do about the middle of the pack - unadjusted time puts me at 18 out of 38 and oddly enough when they do the adjustment i was still 18 out of 38. i need to work on getting a little more rotation, i think im gonna stiffen up the rear sway bar one notch.

EJ in the evo ran a 28.8 in change and then the last run of the day a red miata ran a 28.8 in change but 4 thousandths faster than the evo. the firebird only ran a 31 something i think.

the car that had the wheel fall off was the late 90's early 2000 audi (the green one)
95-97 Audi S6. Was a nice looking car. I dunno why he didn't manage to get longer lug bolts when he got the spacer. Recipe for disaster.

The Jetta did way better than expected.
I need to buy some tires, then I think I could be pretty competitive.

Haha - it just goes downhill from there.. the better tires exacerbate the soft springs/struts, stiffer springs/struts kill the bushings, and so on so forth... it's the devil. :)

Anything killed will be under warranty.  :2funny:  The 100k warranty I have includes struts too, which is crazy. The only wear items not covered are brake pads, rotors, interior/exterior trim, and wiper blades lol.

The only performance mods I plan to do on this car are tires and brake pads.  I was going to do stainless lines but the rulebook doesn't allow that.

Thanks.  To tell you the truth, I think this car will improve my driving more than my last one would have.  I can't wait until the next event.

It's always better to learn to drive a slow car fast than drive a fast car fast. I think I'll be at the next event as well doing some work hopefully. Just sucks I'll be in BSP (I believe). I could've gotten away w/ STU if my damn engine was .1 liter smaller.

Nobody will care, don't mention it at the event (I didn't say that).

Cheater!!!

j/k of course.

I'll be there Saturday, and hopefully my gf will be taking pics. Now that I feel much better driving the car, I'll be fine. Taking DSC off this time, that system killed corner exit for me.

Traction control is rarely a good thing- keyword 'rarely', of course.

I'll have to go for a ridealong for one of your runs, sir!

After looking at my schedule, I actually might not be going. I may or may not have forgotten that it was my anniversary w/ the gf lol.
