« on: April 05, 2011, 05:49:27 PM »
My lil write up about my car....got it Feb 17th, 11. Picked it up from a guy in CT for 6k, had a lil more than 129k on it, before the guy in CT owned it, someone in NJ had it for 6years of its life, from what i heard it was never out in the winter those years....

Whats been done...
Exedy OEM clutch
Momo Shift knob
Armrest extension
wagon swaybar
WRX front calipers
KYB GR2 struts with eibach pro springs
Depo cornerlights, clear front signals, blacked headlights, smoked turn light, smoked taillights
Came with advance auto or walmart tint on it...
Duplicolor bronze RS wheels with Continental DWS tire(awesomeness)
1 1/4 hitch
Borla headers into a high flow cat into a modified STi axleback(included a track pipe thats on it now, Borla rep headers, and the stock exhaust)
Kenwood excelon deck with polk rear speakers and some other brand fronts....and thats all the mods that were on it when i got it....

I added so far...
Hella Supertones
Spats
Limo Tint on rear windows, 25% on fronts. (Thanks to Airmancam!)
02 WRX rearseats(thanks to fred!)
Rally Armor UR flaps, grey writing
Rear Spats
NGK V-Power plugs
NGK wires
"Ghetto" mod intake with K&N cone filter....
and on occasion a Thule T2 bike rack will be on it for the majority of the summer

Night i picked it up...

And a bunch of random shots...

More pics to come....just something i threw together while waiting for my bro to meet me for dinner at buffalo wild wings.... :-D

He may....depends on him mainly....and his woman, she annoys me....

Soooo the original owner said he replaced the headgaskets, water pump, etc... at 90k at a dealership...well i think the driver side is leaking...last i knew the coolant reservoir overflow thing was "full", its now below low...its at 134,300 miles....i hope im wrong... :tickedoff:

Check that when right after the car has been running because the fluid retracts into the radiator itself when its cold.

1999 Honda Civic (Wrecked)
Quote me now while I'm feeling good about it.  I've decided a WRX will be the vehicle that replaces the Jeep.  I can't see paying Evo prices or justifying purchasing a halfassed/beat to death example for the same asinine amount of money.  For an affordable, point to point, all-weather capable performance car, a wagon fits the bill.  A swapped wagon, even better.

Will do tmw, i forgot to mention the huge wet spot underneath the engine...kinda a mix of green and dirt...im no car mechanic but common sense dictates there might just be an issue...

On a upside...this maybe a goood time to do a swap if i can get everything together financially, mechanically, and so on....

make sure you don't have a leak in a coolant line. If you have head gasket issues, the gasket would always be damp. If its dripping from the head gasket, the car shouldn't be running.
