Just bought my Subie
« on: June 02, 2011, 12:22:14 PM »
Hey Guys,
Just picked up my 2011 OBP WRX Sedan back in February. This is my first Subaru my last car was a Black rx8. Im loving it so far i dont have any good pics to post up just shitty iphone pics. Only thing done to it so far is my stereo kenwood ddx-512 with 2 10' jl's, open source tune, and just installed the kartboy ss the other day.

Man the '11s are everywhere.  I see more of them around Rome than I do the 02-07 wrx/sti combined.

Welcome.  I'm a little north of albany and see a lot of these running around, it's downright surprising.  But I never seem to see the same color twice in a row, a good mix.

Thanks guys! I love black tis the only way to go IMO but its a pain to keep clean. As for the wing i dunno i feel like it just looks to plain too much like the impreza i want people to know its a sporty car the STI wing is a bit much but i like it better than the wrx wing.

I sure as hell can't see anything even when looking for it now LOL

I for one will never bring a car to a hoffman's again. They scratched the shit out of my entire car a few years back (dirty drying towel) and had to have a manager buff/wax the whole thing.
Then recently when my gf's car got stained by their automatic wash we went to the one on central to have them try fixing it....the scrubbed the whole car with a big brush and some bug/tar cleaner....then waxed the car, looked okay inside the shop but as soon as we got it home in the sun we saw they waxed right over a TON of dirt that they missed   :knuppel2:

Just fair warning, make sure you check yours for scratches before and after every wash....and be persistent if it looks any different coming out than it did going in

Thankfully I have a hand car wash next to my store. They're really good. He even noticed two small blemishes in my paint.

One where, SOMETHING stained my paint. I mean, literally got under the clear coat into the paint. The guy wet sanded it for free, then waxed and buffed the area for free and it looked WAYYY better. You can still notice the stain very little and only if you look for it...and I also had a black mark on my door sil he seen when I opened my door and waxed it off.

This is why I always goto them, and tip the guy that does my car $5 everytime I pick it up.

Yea they never do a good job honestly but the monthly pass is 30 bucks and i can go as many times i want. Really the only reason why i go there is because its quick and i can go any time it rains or the car is dirty.
