Im a supervisor one of the full service locations. I see Thousands of those stickers a week. I see gorgeous cars - bentleys/mercedes sl's/jag's/a few old rolls royce' come through our wash repeatedly and notice more and more and more swirls. I must back up hoffmans on this, for the average every day driver, it is a great thing. My father and uncle use them both on the daily work vehicles. And its great for them because they drive a TON. The products we are given, are designed to do a specific job in record time. We dont stock multiple stage buffing and waxes compounds. So in kaviks experience it was not great. The car wash itself is nearly impossible to get a car actually clean. Theres to many different contours and body lines on cars. It cant happen. With the OP i completely understand your frustration. I cant bring my car through the carwash, because i go crazy. When a place like hoffmans does 1000 cars a day, its not as easy as you think to do a 100% perfect job on every car we see. But like you said. It is 30 bucks for unlimited washes on the car. You literally can go once an hour-we need to time in between to fill out hourly reports.

On an average everyday car. I find that it does a good job. But on a well sculpted car with sharp body lines that is low to the ground....it struggles. I can remember a few days ago, we had a dodge ram diesel truck with 36inch tall tires and a 6 inch lift, followed by a bmw m3, followed by a chevy impala. Think about the differences in those cars.

I dont mean to jack your thread but i couldn't help but notice it. Im sorry for everyones unfortunate visits to the wash, but i can assure you we all try to correct these problems everyday.
Bad water? Give me a call.

Mostly my complaints would go to the drying of the car. Usually theres still water dripping everywhere off my rear view mirrors, trunk, license plate etc. when i get into my car which causes soap and water marks all over the sides of my car. Plus they always seem to move my seat haha just a pet peeve of mine that annoys me  :-D   Swirl marks are no fun either....

I just would like you to know how difficult it is to actually dry a car completely.....take a hose to your car, and a set of towels to dry it..then take an air compressor and blow out all the cracks that you think will leak....re dry the car....Take it for a ride and see how much water stilll flys out of the cracks... I feel your pain with the water drops out of everywhere. I try to completely dry my car after a hand wash and it normally takes me a good half hour for drying. (i still get water to drip out even after all that)

and the seat, thats just because a short guy is on our driveout team   not everyone is as vertically gifted as us  :-)

Swirl marks?- wax wax wax and more wax.  Those spray waxes we try to sell you.....they work! use em! or use your own wax and take your time drying it on the side. I know for a fact that where i work, we have no problem letting someone borrow a few of our towels when you come through to make it even dryer. I can even have someone help you dry it off extra good. Just gotta speak up and let us know. We will take care of you!

I use the monthly pass at Hoffman's in the winter. No complaints. But I wouldn't use it year round. The chemicals that wash your car can take your skin off. (Buddy of mine works there). So during the summer I prefer to give my car extra care and hand wash at least once a week. Might I also mention going to Marty?
