June 4/5 Edinburgh Autocross
« on: June 02, 2011, 02:43:16 PM »
Host: Tri-Vettes
Entry Fee: $20 per event, $70 for all four. Two events per day.

Registration: 9-1030am
Mandatory Drivers Meeting: 1045
First Car Out: 11am

Location: Plateau Airport Kart Track, Edinburgh NY

This is always a fun event. The course is about two and a half cars wide so it's a decent size. Also, the course never changes so you can compare your times between events.

Here's a video from last year.

This year I'll be driving this, so watch out.  :2funny:

Can't go Sunday cuz of the grill and cruise. I'll be going Saturday afterall though. I am taking it off. This is an awesome event. I'll be leaving early from Glenville in the morning if anyone wants to ride together.

Argh, if it wasn't for prior plans, I'd take the e30.  Do not want to compete with zilla on allseasons.

Yeah I wish it was like a cm or two higher.  Sometime I scrape the bottom of the front bumper going around corners haha

Idk I don't have a helmet either but I guess I will put the 16x7s and RE01s back on just in case. This event is like 15 minutes from home so I am showing up one way or another....

Damn, last year all they had were shitty glasses.  I broke one on the ride home and lost the other one.

I have a nice collection of their glasses as well. They always used to give the corvette guys trophies and us glasses. I remember being disappointed last year though when Phill beat me out and won a trophy. I think last year was the first year non vettes got trophies. second and third got glasses. I like phill but I must say, I was happy not to see him just this once.  :2funny:

Nope, the Baja had back-to-back win trophies for Open Modified in Fall 2008.

Nice job reppin' the  rally cars Miguel!   I'm definitely going to try and make the fall one.

It's possible they didn't order them in time, didn't have the money, or the order got messed up.

Well, normally I'd be with you.  What I have is a pair of corvettes holding my dust.

i remember going to tri-vettes with my uncle in his '92 vette when i was 11. It was the first year a wrx and an evo were both in the competition.
