I understand both sides of the argument, but i have never really heard bad things from someone that has used them.
Well, it's possible Subaru has upgraded their 5x100 wheel bearing design from 'swiss cheese' to something better. I know the adapters of which you speak, if you get them, you have to make sure they have a hub extender so the wheel has something to sit on other than your lug studs. If you're going to do it, do it safe. Your car is beautiful, would hate to see it after a wheel broke loose.

I personally dislike the OEM '10-'11 wheel design, though I do like the sizing and color. The delicate multispoke look might've worked on the first gens, but since '02, the impreza's been more chunky. Unevenly spaced spokes give me the rage. I'm a huge fan of the OZ Superturismos, for a good example of nice multispokes. I almost picked up those 'legit' wheels for wagonzilla, but I'd rather curb my rotas.
