I'm his brother and I just threw a set on my '09 last night and texted him a picture.  Car looks great! What finish did you get for the wheels, they look a little brighter than the ones I got.

Thanks guys i appreciate it. The steering wheel is great. i absolutely love it. It was my first real purchase for the car aside from the shifter.

I think it is totally worth it. I justified it because you think of all the things you touch...and think of all the parts that you buy...and will never touch after you put them on. I think of the wheel as like a reaaaallllllyyyyy expensive shift knob. Just makes it more fun.

I must say it is awkward when your trying to back out of a parking spot because of the flat bottom.

Kavik defianetly worth the money. - Prova makes a suede/alcantra one for your wagon. Damd also makes one in leather. Im pretty sure you can get the both in the d-shape.

But for the seats. Could you just pm me your number and i send it via text tomorrow? theyre a pain to get on here.

No.  Just don't do it.  The offsets are the way they are for a reason.  If you want more wheel, just get a wider one.

"Meaningful size" Spacers require replacement of lug studs too.

Not that I am condoning this but you must have seen this by now, right?  Stockers w/spacers.  I'll admit it does look nice.

I have seen many people run large spacers...     The ones i have seen them run are more of an adapter that use the stock studs. to fasten the spacer.

I understand both sides of the argument, but i have never really heard bad things from someone that has used them.

Yes i have and i envy xlubens ride. Love what he has done to it.

Just head on over to the "Members Car Gallery" section of Nasioc and click on any thread that references the 2011+ WRX/STI... there will be a picture (or pictures) of that car in it.

I understand both sides of the argument, but i have never really heard bad things from someone that has used them.

Well, it's possible Subaru has upgraded their 5x100 wheel bearing design from 'swiss cheese' to something better.  I know the adapters of which you speak, if you get them, you have to make sure they have a hub extender so the wheel has something to sit on other than your lug studs.  If you're going to do it, do it safe.  Your car is beautiful, would hate to see it after a wheel broke loose.

I personally dislike the OEM '10-'11 wheel design, though I do like the sizing and color.  The delicate multispoke look might've worked on the first gens, but since '02, the impreza's been more chunky.  Unevenly spaced spokes give me the rage.  I'm a huge fan of the OZ Superturismos, for a good example of nice multispokes.  I almost picked up those 'legit' wheels for wagonzilla, but I'd rather curb my rotas.
