Yah - but don't look at it like its the return of salt, think of it as the new birth of a fun year in the snow :D

Quote me now while I'm feeling good about it.  I've decided a WRX will be the vehicle that replaces the Jeep.  I can't see paying Evo prices or justifying purchasing a halfassed/beat to death example for the same asinine amount of money.  For an affordable, point to point, all-weather capable performance car, a wagon fits the bill.  A swapped wagon, even better.

Getting snows put on Friday... Nokian WR's.

Until then... the signs of winter and my summer tires...

Don't worry, they'll be as clean as they can be for Sunday... lots of highway travel means lots of dirtyness.

What sort of rubber are are people putting on their cars this winter?  Living upstate, I would imagine you'd by straight up snow tires and avoid the "all weather" tires many people use.

Thanks,

I am putting Nokian WR "All-Weather" tires on mine. They are supposed to be good year round but still qualify for severe duty (snow tires). I will be using them in the winter only... the tread is fairly deep.
