Topic: Upgrading struts and spring. Camber bolts?? (Read 778 times)

So im getting rs struts, and im trying to figure out the rest. For springs im tore between Eibach's or H&R's. Eibachs lower 1.0 to 1.2 inches, and h&r's lower almost 2 inches according to tire rack. I do want low, so would the h&r's be good? What about camber bolts? I have no clue about any of these things, haha. Any help is appreciated!

i dont kno much, but i doubt you will need camber adjustment.

I don't know how the older wagons were....but I wouldn't be too quick to say it won't be needed. I know 02-07 wagons running sedan struts lose neg camber. I'd probably just throw the struts on, and add camber bolts if you can't get them negative without. It's not hard to swap them out once everything else in installed

for me, my answer is a genuine 'I don't know'...hopefully someone else will chime in

however, if you do buy them get the SPC ones (same as the eibach's, and a few other brands, but half the price). And if you do buy those (soonish) and end up NOT needing them, i'll buy them off you for Kim's car

Make sure you get the springs for the Struts and top hats... not for your car

Stock rs struts, stock wagon top hats, cross matched the springs from a 00 rs to my 93 wagon, exact same part number

most subaru's i align have stock camber adjuster bolts for the fronts. if not, then for what it costs to adj the camber its worth it.

well, its 21 for 2 of them, so that means order 2 sets, for a total of 4 camber bolts, one for each strut, correct?

and yes DarkSide, they do have the stock camber bolts in the top hole in the front, but when using sedan struts on wagons you sometimes need another set in the lower front hole and a set in the rear as well, because it changes the angle of the strut with the narrower mounting points
