Dear Lord.  Want to donate the old drivetrain to a rusty cause?  :-D

Donate or sell? I'm definitely looking to sell a lot of the parts (reduced for unysocers), but i need to recur some of the moneys spent on said swap if i can.

the engine is staying with me, it's just a drivetrain swap. i would've loved to have gotten the EJ207 with it but i didn't want to spend another like 3-4 G.

No matter. Personally for a DD I think the 2.5 is a better motor anyways. 207's are badass when built but are more high strung.

It's nice having standard OTS sensors and parts available too.

God dude, new 235's and brembos with some nice pads are probably going to leave seatbelt bruises on you.   :-D

Bruises?!  My 205 Hankooks and EBC Redstuffs leave marks on me, there'll probably be cracked bones...

pallet of parts arrived to freds dads garage yesterday!!!

dccd auto/manual switch and c.diff wheel came in, as well as a stock 07 sti shift knob.

tomorrow i pick up a set of 04 gold bbs wheels

dccdpro is on order, hopefully it gets here next week.

still need to buy sedan lower control arms and sedan lateral links so i can use the sti axles.
also still need to roll and possible pull the fenders
also need to get spacers, wheel studs and open ended lugs for my white rims

You might have to get creative with mounting the fender liners if you have to do a lot of stretching to the fenders.

Roll what fenders? Shouldn't need to pull anything unless you are too low.

I have no experience with that part, but it mostly will come down to ride height.

my reasoning is because i was rubbing with 225/45 under heavy load at autox, and now i'm gonna be like 20mm wider track (10mm each side) plus im gonna have 235/40

Yeah, only ran into issues when I went to nearly no camber and had 4 people in the wagon. I was rolled in the rear.

DCCDpro came in today!!

i was supposed to get bbs wheels last week but it kind of fell through. so i'm still looking for winter wheels to clear brembos. i would hate to have to put my summer wheels on in February.

maybe these V7's on nasioc for a G....i dunno

If you look in the tri-state section on nasioc, there is a guy parting out a 04 wrx from connecticut and he has gold bbs 5x100 for sale. Im going down there in the next few weeks to pick up stuff anyways so you wouldn't have to make the trip if you didn't want too

Quote me now while I'm feeling good about it.  I've decided a WRX will be the vehicle that replaces the Jeep.  I can't see paying Evo prices or justifying purchasing a halfassed/beat to death example for the same asinine amount of money.  For an affordable, point to point, all-weather capable performance car, a wagon fits the bill.  A swapped wagon, even better.

yea i saw these and thought they had sold, i'll definitely pm the guy. the only thing is i still need tires because one of mine had a slow leak, went flat, i fixed it, but sitting on the ground must have ruined part of the tire. it doesn't have a bubble, but it's a little wavy, and i can't really drive it over 65 without it being a wicked rough ride. no shop would transfer this tire to a new rim, and i don't want to buy 4 tires also with everything else. ill see if i can get maybe 4 all seasons somewhere for dick cheap.

yeah, he will get back to you really quickly and is very reasonable with prices.  I got a lot of stuff for the price he asked for the seats.

So are you just doing a drivetrain swap or are you doing a few motor upgrades as well?
