DSG's dyno read about 10-15% lower than the other one I had my car on.

Well yeah, Dyno to Dyno comps are worthless. You can go into the setup of a dyno and change the correction factors and have huge #'s or tiny ones.

What's important is
-Is the tune safe?
-Is it getting good power out of the car?
-Is it smooth?

All of which will be true when Matt gets done :)

^ That's good power, regardless of dyno specific correction factor.

It runs and there are no bad noises or behaviors, I'd be happy. Also, those are definitely nice power numbers.
Eric

Quote me now while I'm feeling good about it.  I've decided a WRX will be the vehicle that replaces the Jeep.  I can't see paying Evo prices or justifying purchasing a halfassed/beat to death example for the same asinine amount of money.  For an affordable, point to point, all-weather capable performance car, a wagon fits the bill.  A swapped wagon, even better.

Yeah its the STi 11 mil. I asked them about the pickup and oil pan, they didnt seem to be concerned about it!
Thought my headers would be shot too after 106K but all is well.
Time to start an Axel/Clutch fund I suppose! Im surprised the original clutch has held up and still holding!

I'm not. Usually people with clutch problems in STi's are the same people that blew up their WRX tranny doing dumb shit.

dude E85 wont even do me any good, bigger fuel pump, 4 bar map sensor and 24+ psi now we're talking, his 330ftlbs to my 270 tho :(, a 2L to a 2.5 is a world of difference

those numbers are good either way you look at it, again they are only numbers dude.

Yeah, a 2.5 build would have got you spooling quicker and better TQ #'s, but oh well. Lets not split hairs here, you both have good numbers, and I'm sure the cars are plenty quick for DD street cars.

uhhhh whatever the shop's is, dynometer? cant remember off the top of my head...and i cant remember the actual torque number, it was somewhere in the range of 260-270, mind you i had a massive boost leak and my boost wasnt coming in till 6k lol so 326 is just a number, im probably in the range of 340 with it making good boost now. its still laggy, but when it hits it pulls all the way to redline, my cams are the only thing that are killing me up top now...

i only made 305 off pump, E85 was such a difference...i dont wanna go back to pump over the winter :(

ha yea, its def more than fast enough for a dd, but it never ends, you of all know this lol

Shes pullin strong like oxen! Runnin smooth, little bit of slap on startup but not bad, calmed down in no time, no smoke. Temps were good the whole way. Pulled over half way, cooled down, checked her earl, all good. Engine sounds sweet when cruising and when I got on it a couple times. Good to be back, real good!

I dont see why not.
Try giving them a call soon if you want and tell them what happened, what you saw, what your compression numbers were etc... and get the ball rolling. Being your block only has 40K, they may be able to work with it as is, or not, but they would let you know ahead of time. Might be able to save some pennies. Hopefully your heads arent warped and pass vacuum test, that would save on machine shop time right there.
