205/60R16 on 2011 Impreza

Hey guys.

Just curious on if anyone has run a 205/60 in a winter tire instead of the 205/55.  It looks like it should fit OK, and I figure having a little extra sidewall is good for winter potholes. 

I have a 2011 Impreza, just didn't know if there was any rubbing anywhere.

Well, almost a year later I wanted to post back for anyone else who ever searches and finds this thread...

Got a set of Conti WinterContact SIs in the 205/60 on sale last spring, and have been running them for a few months.  Fit just fine, no rubbing or issues with clearance on an all stock suspension.  I actually like how the bigger diameter changes the gearing somewhat, and to me it makes the car more enjoyable to drive.

You should check/recalculate your gas mileage.  I bet it increased, even once you factor the bigger tire diameter in.
