Looking for some test subjects for exhausts
« on: February 05, 2004, 09:53:56 PM »
I'm looking for approx 5 people with the desire to test out a product and do a review for me.

I have several Megan Racing Catback exhausts for the WRX coming in.

I'd like to test out fitment of them and see how people like them.

I've had these in stock before for EVO's and 240sx's and every customer has been amazed with the quality and low price.

Megan Racing hasn't really developed a name for themselves yet and I'm hoping to be the reputable vendor to bring that name around.

These exhausts are stainless steel, and you can come check the quality out for yourself, they are beautiful.

Anyone looking to test these out for me will get there's at $330 picked up.
Please don't go advertising these prices around on the net. These are beta test exclusive prices. I want local guys to try them at my cost so that I can get pictures and opinions direct from you.

I can help anyone put them on for free as well.

Here's a couple pics:

I should add that these are 3" and come with gaskets and a 1 year warranty.

I'm hoping to get plenty of installed pics and video for advertising the products.

Hey Brad,
This couldn't come at a better time.  As you know, I have been doing some research on exhausts, and was planning on purchasing one soon.  It looks like this exhaust has a silencer, (sound suppression is on of my most important qualities) and so I would love to help you out.  I'm not thrilled about the size of the tip  ,  but am willing to give you my objective (and subjective) opinions.  I am in the office tommorow (Friday) and then again (Sunday afternoon and Monday) but free any other day.

Talk to you soon.

just in case you forgot, I have 04 Rex.

Exhaust Hangers
« Reply #4 on: February 05, 2004, 11:07:15 PM »
Brad,
From what I've read, I may need some extended exhaust hangers.  I think OCD is using Kartboy-  which sits a bit low in my opinion-  but we''ll cross that bridge when we get there.  Just making sure you have some extended exhaust hangers in stock (just in case I need them)

We'll talk soon.

Dan?/OCD,

I couldn't get your snow video to work.  I saw the second video-looks like fun. - you already answered my question that I didn't even ask- I'm glad to hear that it doesn't drone.

yea u have to click and save the video, for some reason i couldn't get that one to stream, i will do some videos of it in a little of inside car, outside, idle and silencer, if there is any other types let me know, and o yea by the way there dp is the biggest piece of junk, don't fit at all, and doesn't even have bung for O2 sensor, only a wideband one, it was more than 6 inches short, i ended up going with a helix dp and i will let u know how it bolts up to the megan racing dp, i will take pics of it all

I might like to get in on this... is there like a time limit or something?

I have an 04, and I'd need a LOT of help  cuz the only mechanical sort of thing I've ever done is installed a short shifter on my mustang, and that seems to be far easier than installing exhaust :(

I can get one of these for you anytime, theres no real time limit

I'm just offering this pricing to people that are willing to test the product out for me, do some reviews, and willing to let me use their car as advertisement.

I have no problem helping you install this. I could bolt this exhaust on in a matter of minutes.
